Sometimes in life you just need to dance. It’s a lesson most of us have learned at some point in our lives, and it’s one that this little girl has just discovered. While home alone with her father, four-year-old Ines performed an adorable choreographed dance with the help of her daddy. Together, they mimic the routine of a couple on “Dancing With The Stars” and warm all our hearts along the way. It starts with Ines sitting alone at an empty table. Suddenly the TV starts playing “Chandelier” by Sia and Ines crawls over the table and into the arms of her father. Even though they may not hit every move, they sure have a lot of fun. Most of the rap you hear these days is full of foul language and inappropriate messages. That’s why this dad decided to use rap to teach his kids some positive messages. It won’t be long before these three form a family-friendly rap group that takes the nation by storm. Wu-Tang Clan is already taken, so maybe they could call themselves the “Cul-de-sac Clan?” Read more: http://www.wimp.com/dad-performs-old-school-rap-with-his-kids/
We all know not to judge a book by its cover, but what about when that book is covered in tattoos from head to toe and has ear gauges the size of silver dollars? Pierre Edel might look intimidating, but behind his tattoos and cold stare is a voice that could melt even the coldest hearts. Pierre wowed the judges on a recent episode of The Voice: Ukraine with his rendition of Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love.” Any apprehensions the audience might have quickly fade as soon as the band plays that iconic opening guitar riff. One judge lets out an involuntary “whoa” before Pierre even sings a single note! And when he finally does start singing? It doesn’t take long for the judges to spin around in their chairs and take a look at the man behind that angelic voice. Contestants like Pierre are what The Voice is all about. Society likes to tell us to judge people based on how they look, but that couldn’t be a worse way to go through life. Every person we meet is totally unique, with all kinds of passions and talents that they can’t wait to share with the world. If we choose not to listen to someone simply because they have a tattoo on their face, there’s no telling what we could miss out on. Thankfully, the audience on The Voice wasn’t too quick to judge, and they were lucky enough to hear Pierre do what he does best. Don’t forget to SHARE Pierre’s amazing talent with your family and friends.! H/T: Brothers Of Music Read more: http://www.wimp.com/tattooed-singer-wows-judges-with-his-rendition-of-whole-lotta-love/
It seems like every year or two Apple releases a newer version of the iPhone, but are they ever really any better than the previous version? Jimmy Kimmel wanted to see what would happen if he told people they were receiving the new iPhone, when in reality he was just giving them their old phone in a new case. The results are… well, just see for yourself. Read more: http://www.wimp.com/people-are-asked-to-review-the-new-iphone-which-is-really-just-their-old-phone/
Abandoned cow stables aren’t exactly the first place most of us look for inspiration when building a new home, but for Carlos Alonso and his sister, Camino, it was just what they were looking for. The duo found a one-of-a-kind cow stable while trekking through the Spanish countryside, and they immediately fell in love with the place. The stable was on the verge of collapse when they first discovered it, but after months of renovations, they managed to transform it into an enviable luxury home with all the modern amenities you would expect. Kirsten Dirksen from faircompanies.com heard about this unique project and travelled to the location to film it. The footage she captured is beyond stunning. At first glance, you would never imagine that it was once used to house cows and hay. In fact, however, much of the interior architecture was inspired by the original design – just in a very modern way. The entire building is powered by solar panels, natural light, and water from the surrounding bodies of water, which makes it very ecologically-friendly. Everything is designed to bring the pristine beauty of the countryside indoors. The contrast between the modern interior design and the rustic exterior is something that will dazzle any homeowner who sees the place. As Camino Alonso puts it, “Nature is free, it’s like a gift. You don’t have to pay for it. You have it there, you can enjoy it.” It’s a statement that certainly rings true when you explore every angle of this beautiful home. Be sure to SHARE this amazing video with your family and friends. H/T: Kirsten Dirksen Read more: http://www.wimp.com/man-transforms-abandoned-cow-stable-into-modern-home/
Trees are just about impossible to move, right? They’re literally rooted into the ground, and the large ones weigh more than any one person could lift. Enter the “tree spade.” It’s like a claw machine for trees, and it’s a whole lot of fun to watch. Read more: http://www.wimp.com/this-machine-can-dig-up-and-relocate-an-entire-tree/
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: kids do the darndest things. Whether it’s something they say or something they do, you’re probably never going to get bored with some kids around. That may also be because you’re busy making sure none of them get into too much trouble, but anyone with even the slightest bit of babysitting experience can attest to the fact that there are plenty of highly entertaining moments to be had. One of my nephews is the funniest 7-year-old you’ll ever meet, and he’s not really even trying. He’s really cute, but is often lost in his own thoughts with an intensity that makes him look like Grumpy Cat. It’s just too funny. One of the things I’ve learned from hanging out with him is that patience is a virtue that takes a while to acquire. He doesn’t really like waiting for stuff: his idea of an appropriate rest time for Uncle Arch after three rounds of freeze tag is counting to 30 – while skipping numbers 15-25. When it comes to fun, kids have no patience. Take this kid, for instance. This video was uploaded by YouTuber Nikki buell, with the title “Batter taking too long.” The boy, named Coop, looks to be about 3-5 years old, and is playing in a baseball game against other kids his age. As “Turn Down For What?” by Lil Jon plays in the background, Coop apparently gets bored of waiting for the batter to take his turn and, recognizing the song for the baller jam that it most assuredly is, decides to bust a move right there on the field. Maybe if he becomes a pro baseballer someday, we’ll get to see him transition over to Dancing With The Stars, too. Whether you fly a lot or a little, passenger aircraft don’t get much love from the public. When you’re in them, you’re mostly concerned with that crying baby in front of you, or the kid behind you, kicking your seatback. The ticket is expensive and the amenities are spartan. When you take a step back however, these aluminum behemoths are actually pretty incredible. At any given moment in the skies over America, there are around 5 billion pounds of metal, jet fuel and people hurtling through the air at hundreds of miles per hour. These planes are engineered to withstand insane forces that most of us can’t even comprehend. When you look at it that way, it’s no wonder folks like Bruce “I live on a plane” Campbell of Oregon (not to be confused with Bruce “The Chin” Campbell, also of Oregon) fall in love with the mere concept of these wonders of the modern age to the point that they dream of buying their own. For Bruce it’s no dream, he’s got a vintage 727 from the ‘60s parked and converted into his very own dream-come-true home. Read more: http://www.wimp.com/airplane-home-portland-bruce-campbell/
