GoPro Footage Shows Exactly What It Looks Like To Be An Expert Surfer
Off the coast of Africa, surfer Koa Smith strapped on a GoPro camera and set out to catch a few waves. What he captured won him the inaugural “GoPro of the World” prize and $20,000. Koa nimbly surfed through a 27-second barrel wave, a rare wave to catch and even rarer to film on camera.
The “GoPro of the World” competition started in May and challenged people to create the most interesting video from anywhere in the world. The competition just ended and the judges awarded Koa the well-deserved prize.
