Every once in a while, a story comes along that’s so unbelievable you can’t help but be affected by it. The story of Tawana Jo Yadon and her son sounds like it could be the plot of a blockbuster film, but that description doesn’t do their experience justice. Tawana and Fred’s journey is so full of genuine love and determination that it could never truly be captured onscreen.
Given up for adoption in 1945, Fred Kiser never stopped thinking about his biological mother. He began searching for her identity in 1971 and didn’t give up despite the numerous obstacles that got in his way. We won’t spoil how things end up, but we hope that their story serves as a beacon of hope for anyone searching for a loved one.
