Dick Van Dyke’s 90th Birthday Flash Mob
Not too long ago, Dick Van Dyke was one of the biggest stars in the world. He starred in his own television show as well as a number of famous films. However, his legacy will always be his role as the loveable chimney sweep from Mary Poppins. As the celebrated actor turns 90 years old, Disney wanted to do something spectacular to celebrate his impact on millions of people across the world.
A legion of fans showed up at The Grove in Los Angeles and surprised the actor with a choreographed rendition of his most well known songs. After the perfomance, Van Dyke climbed down to sing along with the crowd himself. The whole ordeal shows why Dick Van Dyke is one of the world’s greatest treasures.
