This odd folk hero travels around the country, paying to go into pro golf games to shout “mashed potatoes!” right after players swing. No one knows the identity of the mashed potato man, but for all his goofy glory he always minds his manners. He never messes up a shot by being distracting; he just celebrates in his own starchy way. Thank you for your politeness mashed potatoes man. The world could use more considerate pranksters like you.
