Flash The Lamb’s Future Is So Bright, He’s Gotta Wear Shades
If you’re an animal lover like I am, chances are you know someone who dresses up their pets. Heck, you might even do it yourself! While there’s nothing wrong with this fun, and often adorable, practice, sometimes it can get a little out of hand. After all, there’s a difference between knitting your pup a sweater to keep it warm and turning it into “Superman” just for fun.
Needless to say, when I saw pictures of a lamb wearing sunglasses floating around online, I was a bit skeptical. Were his owners putting those on him just so they could take funny photographs? Are those sunglasses even comfortable for him? Thankfully, all of those concerns went away when I learned the truth behind Flash the Lamb’s new pair of shades.
As it turns out, his sunglasses had nothing to do with his owner’s desire to dress him up and everything to do with keeping him healthy and safe. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that they make him look like the coolest lamb on the block in the process … Check out the pictures below to learn more about Flash and the special pair of glasses that protect his vision.
Flash is your average, everyday lamb … with the exception of one special accessory. Just three weeks old, Flash experienced complications with one of his eyes shortly after birth. Thankfully, his owner came up with a clever solution.
“We noticed something wrong with one of his eyes after he was rejected by mom,” said owner Taya Dutt. “He has uveitis due to an infection of unknown origin – the eye is no longer inflamed after a course of antibiotics and eyedrops – but the bright sunlight can cause him pain so a pair of sunglasses solves the problem!”
