Imagine that you are a child who has been hurt, neglected, or abused. You’re feeling alone, betrayed, and most of all, afraid. Someone has committed a crime against you, and statistically speaking, it was probably someone you knew and thought you could trust. Your day in court is coming, and terrifyingly, the adults in your life have been called as witnesses and will not be allowed inside the courtroom. It is a heart-wrenching situation that no child should ever have to be in, but it’s a reality that must be dealt with.

That’s where Bikers Against Child Abuse International steps in. Although they may look tough and burly, these soft-hearted men and women have one mission in mind: protect and support children. BACA will never physically harm or instigate a perpetrator, but other than that, they will do whatever’s necessary. Whether it means standing guard outside a child’s window for days on end, riding miles to appear with a child in court, providing escorts to school, or just being a friend, BACA is all in.

If you or someone you know could use support from BACA, you can find more information here. They only work with cases that have been reported to the authorities, but as soon as a liaison confirms the case, the closest BACA members will ride to meet the child in question. In extreme cases, they’ll even bring the whole crew. As you’ll see in the video below, they are real-life superheroes.
