A Natural Way To Make Your Grill Non-Stick
What’s your favorite part about summer? For many people, it’s grilling. There’s no better way to cook your food than grilling it, a lot of people would agree.
But apart from the great food, gathering with friends and family for outdoor barbecues is a lot of fun. When you’re just trying to eat, relax and spend quality time with the people you love, one of the most annoying things that can happen is getting food stuck on the grill. It’s also one of the most common pet peeves of grilling, but it is preventable.
All you need is a potato.
Most people will try to oil their grill over and over to prevent sticking. But that’s not going to do the trick.

The best way is to use a potato. Cut a potato in half and stab it with a fork. Make sure that the cut side is facing downwards.
After the grill heats up, rub the cut side of the potato back and forth over the grill. After a few times, you’ll hear a sizzling sound. Perfect.

This works great because the starch is pulled from the potato. It creates a barrier between the food and the grill, and also doesn’t involve any harmful chemical greasing sprays. Reapply each time you cookout and you’ll never have to worry about food getting stuck on the grill again.
