Thousands Of People Trapped In 50-Lane Traffic Jam
The next time you’re sitting in a bad traffic jam, adding a few extra minutes to your commute, think of this recent jam in China and smile. At least you’re not stuck on a gridlocked 50-lane highway. This incident in Beijing was caused by a new checkpoint being added after a toll, which suddenly cut the 50 lanes down to just 20. Thousands of people were stuck waiting in their cars for hours during the incident. Thanks to this drone footage we’ve got a newfound appreciation for just how good we have it during our boring, normal traffic jams.
