Mister Rogers defends public television before the senate
Most of us know Fred Rogers as the beloved host of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, but he wasn’t always so well known. In 1969, Rogers stood before the senate and asked for $20 million to help fund PBS. As you can see, he isn’t just good with kids, but adults, too.
