The “Spider Catcher” Is Perfect For The Arachnophobic Pacifist
They have fangs full of venom, four-times as many legs as humans, and the ability to sneak into our homes and crawl wherever they want. That’s right, we’re talking about spiders. Contrary to popular belief, spiders are not insects. In fact, they aren’t even bugs. Spiders are arachnids, which means they have eight legs, venomous fangs, and there are over 40,000 different species around the world.
Now, I’m as frightened by spiders as the next guy, but even I know that it isn’t a good idea to squash these little guys. Did you know that most spiders are actually beneficial to keep around your house? They love munching on other pests like mosquitoes, roaches, and moths, making them one of the best forms of natural pest control around. They even balance their own population by fighting, and killing, other spiders they come across. You know those Daddy Long Legs that look so spooky? They’re actually known to kill Black Widows! So, the next time you see one in your house, it might be polite to say “thank you.”
Even if you aren’t going to kill them, you probably don’t want spiders crawling around your living room while you’re trying to relax. Thankfully, a dad from Ireland has come up with the perfect solution for arachnophobic pacifists everywhere. The “Spider Catcher” allows users to grab spiders without harming them and release them outside in peace. Check out the video to learn how the “Spider Catcher” works and what you can do to get your hands on one. It’s okay to be scared of spiders, but that doesn’t mean we can’t form a peaceful alliance with our eight-legged friends.
Don’t forget to SHARE this incredible invention with your friends and family!
