Man Pushes Brussels Sprout Up A Mountain With His Face For Charity.
What’s the craziest thing you can think of that anyone’s every done for charity? Ok, got it? Well Englishman Stuart Kettell, has it beat. Last week, instead of doing a marathon or maybe walking across the country, he decided to push a Brussels sprout up Mount Snowdon (the highest mountain in Whales) using just his nose.
Yep, that’s right.
It took Kettell four days in total to complete his 3,560 foot journey crawling on his hands and knees. He wore special gloves, knee pads, and a face protector to ensure he didn’t injure himself. Kettell used a total of 22 different sprouts over the course of his adventure. His goal was to raise £5,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. According to his fund raising page he’s nearly at his goal.
Here is Kettell looking in high spirits.
Wearing his specially designed face mask.
Gotta keep on rolling.
Kettell’s friend hiked the journey along with him, and filmed the whole thing for a mini documentary they’re looking to release. Check out the trailer.
This also isn’t the first stunt Kettell has pulled for charity for Macmillan Cancer Support (though it probably is the craziest). Here are a few others.
2007 – Flew around Britain in a flexwing microlight right after finishing his training.
2008 – Rode across the country on a penny farthing (old bicycle).
2009 – Kayaked from France to England.
2010 – Lived in a small box for a week suspended by a crane.
2011 – Seven marathons in seven days in a giant human hamster wheel.
2012 – Hung suspended by helium balloons for seven days.
2013 – Walked every street in the town of Coventry (500 miles) on a pair of stilts.
2014 – Levitated in mid air for a week.
