3-Year-Old’s Halftime Performance Steals The Show
When we’re young, we want to grow up to be just like our heroes. A little boy playing peewee football might pretend he’s Peyton Manning in the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl. A little girl might pretend she’s an astronaut as she bounces around her backyard, pretending to be in the low gravity of space. Whatever you want to be when you grow up, it’s only natural to do whatever it takes to look and act just like them.
Take this little boy standing on the sidelines during halftime at a football game. All he wants to do is be out there on the field with the color guard as they dance to the marching band’s music. Instead, at 3-years-old, this little guy is forced to watch from a distance. Or is he?
Color guards go hand-in-hand with marching bands or drum corps. As the band plays, these highly talented individuals dance and move to the beat of the music, interpreting it for the crowd’s entertainment. They spin flags, rifles and sabres, along with a variety of other props to enhance their performance. Color guards are also a part of marching band or drum corps competitions, and contribute to the group’s final overall score.
Even though he’s younger than the rest of the color guard, this little guy isn’t wasting any time chasing his dreams. Does he have what it takes to join the rest of the group? You’ll have to see for yourself …
