6-Year-Old With Rare Bone Disorder Dances With The Rockettes
Few people could tear all the eyes in the room away from the stunning Rockettes while they’re performing; six-year-old Audrey Nethery is definitely one of those people. The young girl was first noticed by the public when her mother uploaded a video to Facebook of the youngster enjoying one of her favorite pastimes: Zumba.
The tiny Kentuckian’s fame has also helped raise awareness and funds for the Diamond Blackfan Anemia Foundation, as Nethery was born with the life-threatening bone marrow disorder. The condition means that she doesn’t produce enough red blood cells, which makes it hard for oxygen to circulate through her body and causes other health issues.
