Have you ever tried barking at a dog to see how they would react? Those of us who have done this know that our dogs aren’t very easily convinced. Maybe it’s the fact that they recognize us as people and not dogs, or perhaps our dog impressions simply aren’t as good as we think they are. Whatever the reason, magician Jose Ahonen was interested in what would happen if dogs came face-to-face with a man who has a knack for dog impressions.

Voice actor Rudi Rok can bark better than most dogs, which made him the perfect candidate for this experiment. Ahonen puts him in a studio with a bunch of different dogs, turns on the camera, and lets the action unfold. What follows is strange, hilarious, and unlike anything we, or these dogs, have ever seen.
