Gorilla Walks Like A Human
When we visit the zoo, we have a pretty good idea of what we’re going to see. The lions will lay out in the sun, the otters will splash around and the snakes … well, they’ll do whatever it is that they do. Gorillas, on the other hand, are some of the most fascinating animals to observe. They share 95 percent of their DNA with humans, are incredibly social and have recently started walking on two legs.
If that last detail puzzled you, that’s because the ability to walk on two legs is rare amongst gorillas, but that isn’t to say it doesn’t happen. Back in 2010, a gorilla at Port Lympne Wildlife Park named Ambam began walking like a human. When you watch this video, you’ll understand why guests were so impressed with how comfortable and casual he looks.
