His Adele Cover Left ‘The Voice’ Judges Speechless

Jordan Smith perfectly captures why The Voice has quickly become America’s go-to source for impressive vocal performances. He’s already wowed the judges during his blind audition with an ambitious cover of Sia’s “Chandelier” and is quickly becoming this season’s fan favorite. With ringing endorsements from all four judges who know their stuff, there’s no reason not to tune in for Smith’s performances. 

This past Monday, during one of the program’s “Knockout” rounds, the 21-year-old from Kentucky delivered a masterful cover of “Set Fire to the Rain” by Adele. With all the buzz surrounding her new single, there was a lot of pressure to do the song justice. By the time he’s finished singing, not only did he do the song justice, but there’s no doubt that Jordan Smith could go on to win the entire season.
