Rooftopping Through Spain
Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is a gorgeous city in Spain’s Canary Islands. Its beautiful beaches, warm weather and colorful homes make it a popular destination for cruise ships and tourists alike.
As great as it is to visit a city like Las Palmas as a tourist, we’d much rather see the city from a unique perspective. BMX rider Danny MacAskill is giving us just that with a new video that follows him across the city’s rooftops. It’s funny to think that MacAskill had to get permission from residents to ride his bike across all of these roofs. “Hey, I know you don’t know me, but … could I jump my bike off your roof?” As he pedals, hops and flips from building to building, it’s hard not to feel like you’re right there with him … but you’ll probably be glad you aren’t.
