In just two minutes, Chick-fil-A gives a behind-the-scenes look at what happens to its styrofoam cups after they’ve been thrown out. It’s a multi-step process that includes heavy machinery, shredding and in the end, a shiny new park bench. The Chick-fil-A foam cup recycling program is participated in by select locations across the nation. The cups don’t always turn into benches, they have also been used to create employee name badges and work pens. There is no doubt Chick-fil-A stands as a shining example of how to be environmentally responsible in the modern age.
