The Majesty Of The Salt River Wild Horses
The Salt River wild horses live along the lower Verde and Salt Rivers within the Tonto National Forest in Arizona. The horses dwell on parts of the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, Mesa Ranger District, and the Cave Creek Ranger District.
When visiting the Salt River wild horses, it’s important to take safety precautions for yourself, the horses, and the other creatures that live in the area. When observing the horses, you should not disturb them by chasing, harassing, or touching them.
The horses shouldn’t be fed when viewing them, either. In this video, you can see just how beautiful and loving these precious horses are. Their compassion for one another is undeniable.
