You will often hear someone say that if you encounter a bear, the best thing to do is play dead. While that may work, this 20-pound bulldog from California took the opposite advice and charged straight for a couple of bears that were hanging out on a porch. The bears were startled by the bravery of the pup and immediately scattered. 

The owner of the house, David Fernandez, says that these bears are frequent visitors to the house. One day his small bulldog Jules was fed up with the uninvited guests and decided to take matters into his own hands. Good job Jules, you are one brave dog.
