Before Super Bowl XXV in 1991, Whitney Houston delivered a jaw-dropping rendition of the national anthem that would go down in history as one of the best performances of that song of all time. It was released as a single shortly after, and re-released immediately following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. Houston donated all of the proceeds to charity.
