Inside Edition After pulling off the highway and finding a secluded area, Hooker pulled a knife on Stan and threatened to kill her if she didn’t comply with his demands. The kidnapper locked Stan in a wooden head box which prevented her from seeing and hearing her surroundings. Janice would later help Stan escape her captive as well as testify against her former husband in court in exchange for full immunity.
