‘Homeland,’ ‘Walking Dead’ Mashup Makes Zombies the Real Terrorists

, , , , , ,

Claire Danes finally has something legitimate to cry about — all the terrorists have turned into zombies. Barely Political imagines a world where Homeland and The Walking Dead come together, so that the CIA can search for the most dangerous undead man alive: Abu Nu Zombie. Of course, Rick Grimes is too busy keeping his group alive in a prison cell to really care about terrorists. And Carrie is too busy believing that Brody isn’t a zombie to get anything done. Good thing Mandy Patinkin is around to keep the peace. If you thought these shows were edge-of-your-seat thrillers alone, just imagine the suspense when they team up and start eating each other’s flesh. , , , ,

The two-minute trailer is filled with a heavy soundtrack and quick cuts — a big change from the slow moving and deliberate pacing of the original. Gone, too, is the famous Zarathustra soundtrack. The trailer does keep Kubric’s iconic flying femur scene. You can check out the trailer below. YouTube fans have chimed in with their approval of the trailer, but what do you think? Sherlock Holmes Mocks Fall TV Shows for Being Rip-Offs

Is the CW’s The Carrie Diaries a lazy turd of a Sex in the City prequel? Is ABC’s Nashville just a country version of NBC’s Smash? Sherlock Holmes sure thinks so in this video ridiculing the fall TV lineup. In “Sherlock Can’t Solve Elementary,” the detective pins down which new shows remind him of past series. “All of these putrid new shows are thinly veiled clones of previously successful ones,” he bemoans. | 6 Fox Shows to Watch | 6 NBC Shows to Watch But one eludes him: CBS’s drama Elementary, which premieres Thursday.
