Lions, tigers, and…best friends, oh my! Cameron the lion and Zabu the white tiger first met at a roadside zoo in New England in the early 2000s. Thankfully, the pair was rescued in 2004 by Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, Florida. Now, they spend their days being BFFs at the rescue (to the delight of both staff and visitors). The rescue saw how the two cats had bonded and knew they had to be kept together. To make sure both the cats and the caretakers were safe, the rescue spayed Zabu and neutered Cameron. This caused Cameron to lose his mane…but given the hot Florida weather, he probably didn’t mind. It’s important to remember that both of them are big cats… But it’s so fun to see them play with their favorite toys, sunbathe, groom each other, and be silly. Zabu the tiger even acts kittenish, according to Big Cat Rescue. “While Cameron tries to sleep most of the day away (as lions do in the wild), Zabu is extremely energetic and is always pestering him to play.” It’s easy to see why these unlikely friends love each other. Heart = melted. Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/lion-white-tiger-love/
Unless you have long hair (and patience), you probably don’t have much use for a hair dryer. …until now, that is! By blasting anything with cool, warm, or hot air, hair dryers actually make pretty effective tools for use around the house. Here’s how you could be using a hair dryer in your day-to-day life (aside from the obvious). You probably have a hair dryer in your home. This is how you should use it! Learning to tie your shoes quickly won’t change your life… …but it is a small improvement that you’ll remember forever! The Ukrainian Knot Method, as explained by Dave Hax on YouTube, shows you how you can tie your shoes in about two seconds. Basically, you need to lace your shoes up backwards so that you’re only tying two loops together. It’s genius (and something most people would never think to try). Not that tying your shoes takes a long time, but this is awesome. Take THAT, shoelaces! Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/ukrainian-knot-method/
Yes, this food is on fire. And it looks awesome. YouTube This is called The Bomb Pizza and it’s from The Place restaurant in Seoul. It might look just like a ball of dough that was caught on fire, but it’s actually a shell surrounding typical pizza toppings. After it’s lit on fire, the heat cooks the pizza toppings and melts the cheeses. You can eat it plain, or you can use any of the dipping sauces The Place provides. It might be worth traveling around the world just to eat this pizza. LOOK AT IT. Watch them serve up The Bomb…it’s totally hypnotizing. This one is red because it’s filled with gorgonzola and cranberries (and it’s perfect). (via BuzzFeed) Now, I’m not saying Americans couldn’t think of an awesome pizza creation like this, but it’s no surprise that The Bomb is being served up in Korea! When traveling, it’s best not to keep valuable items in a locked suitcase. Your passport, credit cards, cash, and other important items should stay on your person (or at least close by). Some people believe that locking them in a suitcase is a safe alternative…but it isn’t. Even if you have a strong lock, the suitcase can be breached with relative ease. Your locked suitcase isn’t as safe as you think. Yet another example of how quickly a zip breach can occur: Expensive new luggage and gear may offer safer alternatives…but it’s best to not take anything for granted (especially if you’re traveling overseas). Traveler beware! Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/break-into-suitcase/
Some people say that cleanliness is next to godliness. Although we wouldn’t suggest that being organized will make you a demigod, it is a good idea to keep your home and workspace clean. If you hate having your shoes, boots, slippers, and sandals strewn about your hallway or mudroom, this is a neat trick you can try that’ll keep everything organized. (Plus, you won’t have to hand out $80 at Crate & Barrel to get a custom shoe rack.) This is so clever! If you spray-paint it gold, then your guests will know they entered the house of someone not only clever, but really, really fancy. Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/pvc-pipe-shoe-rack/
