Less than a week after Facebook‘s big announcement about hitting 1 billion users, all anyone can remember are the chairs. Facebook celebrated hitting the milestone with its first ad campaign, an inspired effort that compared the social network to chairs. The Internet’s response has been swift. Mashable has tried its hand at lampooning the ad and the Tumblr Are Like Facebook has had some fun comparing Facebook to bananas and boxes, among other things. This latest parody takes things a bit further into NSFW territory as well as bizarro territory. (“The universe is a big place full of things that have names. And people you can connect with. People that have a hook for a hand…”) Is it funny? We’ll let you decide. Sound off in the comments. Apparently the bacon shortage was hogwash, but that doesn’t make a difference to Ron Swanson — he’s prepared. Very prepared. According to the much-beloved Parks and Recreation character, the best way to prepare for the shortage is to “Procure as much bacon as humanly possible and hide it in as many locations as you can.” SEE MORE: Ron Swanson Does a Reddit AMA How many places is Swanson hiding his bacon? 38. “Next Week on AMC’s Mad Men.” Just hearing those words at the end of a Mad Men episode is enough to make viewers that want to remain spoiler-free reach for the remote. Unfortunately, most people can’t help but watch the confusing teaser that usually follows for the slightest hint of the following episode’s content. These teasers, it seems, are designed to rope us in and leave more questions than answers. That leaves them wide open to parody, and and FOX’s Animation Domination YouTube channel took note. They created a Mad Men inspired super-cut of The Simpsons that couldn’t be more vague if it tried. The seventh and final season of Mad Men premiers Sunday April 13. Our resident drive-thru prankster has struck again, and this time he’s using everyone’s worst nightmare — Chuckie the doll — as his sidekick. Magic of Rafat hit viral fame in January when he stumped fast food workers by camouflaging himself as a car seat and watching the employees freak out over a self-driving car. This time around, the jokester put Chuckie in the driver seat and watched as the employees screamed in terror at a possessed child’s toy that now has a set of wheels. The reactions are pretty priceless — especially those who just threw the food at the doll hoping to scare it away with saturated fats. Justin has made real Bielebers of the Twitterverse. On Thursday, the movers and shakers of social media couldn’t resist, well, moving and shaking to the Bieber’s hit song “Baby.” Twitter employees flashmobbed their crowded cafeteria, showcasing a popping and locking male lead and a female employee who could rap the entire Ludacris section (we didn’t even think those were real words). Twitter has said it was to celebrate #hackweek, but it was great timing — Bieber is poised to hit the 25 million Twitter followers milestone today. It would make him the second most followed person on Twitter, trailing only Lady Gaga’s more than 27 million followers. Hackweek is a good excuse, but maybe all of Twitter-land just couldn’t contain their Bieber-fever any longer. What’s your favorite flashmob YouTube video? Share with us in the comments.
