The Figure 8 Endurance Race Is Terrifying To Watch
If you think regular auto-racing is exhilarating to watch, then you should prepare yourself for the 2015 World Figure 8 Enduro Race. The race is a three-hour marathon that combines speed, precision, and a lot of courage. This year’s competition featured 28 cars, all vying to get through as many laps as possible in the three-hour time limit.
The event took place in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Indianapolis Speedrome. The Speedrome is home to some of the world’s most unique races, but the Figure 8 Race is its crown jewel. This year’s race was won by Ben Tunny who can be seen racing in the number 5 car.
