Ever wonder how the President of the United States uses Twitter? You can find out in the video above, shot during a Twitter Q&A that President Obama held after a campaign rally in Newton, Iowa earlier this year. “I’m the master tweeter,” exclaimed the President after typing the following tweet composed of exactly 140 characters — even though a shorter tweet is easier for others to retweet and is therefore considered preferable. His team celebrated the 140-character tweet as a “twoosh.” .@jwarner180 bio fuels, wind , solarall getting cheaper each year & oil getting more expensive. Why we need all-of-the-above strategy. -bo — The White House (@whitehouse) May 24, 2012 The tweets were sent from the official White House account — which just hit 3 million followers — and not any of the Obama campaign’s accounts. Obama used the Twitter town hall to answer questions on energy and other topics from a MacBook Pro. How should politicians use Twitter to engage with citizens? Zlatan Ibrahimović is one of the most famous soccer players in the world. A fan favorite, he’s instantly recognizable, and people chant his name everywhere he goes. But for him, this is a problem. Not because he’s shy or unappreciative of his fans — but because there are over 800 million people around the world whose names should be chanted instead. Before the February 14, 2015 match between Paris Saint-German and Caen at Parc des Princes, he put the finishing touches on 50 names that are symbolic of a global crisis. During the game, he removed his jersey and brought these names to the forefront. What they represent will break you heart. To support the United Nations World Food Programme and Zlatan Ibrahimović’s fight against world hunger, make sure to donate here. This isn’t just a good cause. It’s an issue that, if solved, will help heal our entire planet. Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/millions-of-names/

Last month, we shared the story of Imogen, a koala joey who was raised by two employees from the Symbio Wildlife Park in Australia. Matt and Kylie took Imogen into their own home after circumstances led Imogen’s mother to adopt another koala joey. Kylie and Matt loved having Imogen in their house, but they knew that they would have to introduce her into the koala sanctuary at Symbio eventually. Here, we have the privilege of watching Imogen enter her new home in the park for the first time. She doesn’t waste any time making sure the trees, as well as the people, are good for climbing. After living with Matt and Kylie, it looks like Imogen will be fond of cuddling for the rest of her life. We can’t wait for the next update to see how well Imogen fits in with the rest of the koalas at Symbio. Read more: http://www.wimp.com/koala-joey-crawls-up-cameraman/
I’ve recently come to the conclusion that huskies are the most hilarious dogs ever, and this particular bucket of sass just proved me right. If you have your own pup of this breed, you know full well that they love talking back, throwing tantrums, and leaving behind the occasional trail of destruction when you step outside of the house. Sometimes, they don’t even feel bad for doing these things. Take Blu, for example, a husky who ripped apart his bed and made it clear that he didn’t feel guilty in the slightest. There’s no way I would’ve been able to stop myself from laughing.
