Kids make messes. It’s their only job. By age 10, they already have a decade of experience when it comes to wreaking havoc on walls, floors, and even ceilings. One of those drugs is a mysterious substance known as “Devil’s Breath.” Burandanga or Devil’s Breath, as it’s widely know, is said to be found almost exclusively in Colombia. It is derived from the flowers of the borrachero tree. Wikipedia The drug is the stuff of folklore and urban legend in Colombia. It’s said that Devil’s Breath removes the free will of those on it and wipes all memories of their experience while intoxicated. There, they encountered a wide variety of stories from people who believe they were drugged with Devil’s Breath. Some told of being raped, forced to empty their bank accounts, and in one case, convinced to give up an organ. Part of what makes Devil’s Breath so terrifying is that it can easily be administered to someone against their will. According to one drug dealer, the substance can be blown in the face of a stranger on the street. I don’t know about you, but when I find myself stuck in a room with a doll, I constantly look over my shoulder to see if it’s moving. Well, The Lineup and Destination America have teamed up to either quell our fears or justify them by posting a live feed of a doll that’s supposedly haunted. The story behind the doll, which goes by the name of Ann, is that it is inhabited by the spirit of a 13-year-old girl with the same name. The real Ann died from tuberculosis at Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Kentucky, which is known to be one of the most haunted hospitals in America. A former nurse at the facility, Lois, claimed that she was followed home by the spirits of children after they passed. She kept a collection of dolls to anchor their souls. The story only seems to be loosely factual, but who knows? Maybe Ann will speak up and give credence to the myth. Watch the stream to find out!
