googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘VN_PG_DTBT_ATF’); }); As the saying goes,”curiosity killed the cat,” but luckily for this feline, help was on the way. Cats in general can be quite curious creatures. Can you blame them for wanting to explore and discover new things? For this cat, though, curiosity had gotten the better of him. Our furry friend became deprived of oxygen after getting his head stuck in a small glass jar. Fortunately, two men happened to be walking by and quickly discovered the feline in need. They left to retrieve some supplies. In a matter of seconds, they were able to safely free the cat from his glass chamber. There’s nothing worse than feeling like you can’t breathe. Check out the rescue of this claustrophobic cat! Thank goodness these quick-acting men were passing by at just the right time. They’re heroes in my book. Even cats get frisky when they’ve consumed too much cat nip and gin. When Redditor Leicor‘s girlfriend tasked him with the responsibility of petsitting her cat, he decided to have a little fun. Instead of sitting back with a toy mouse and enjoying the monotonous duty of staring at a cat, he created a video depicting the scandalous escapades of the orange kitty. Not only is the video solid entertainment, it’s also a great way to ensure that your significant other will never ask you to catsit or leave town ever again. When Oliver the cat sits down to eat his lunch every day, it’s always under the watchful eye of his canine companion, Hershey. Even though cats and dogs make unlikely friends, these two know the value of sharing! Oliver knows that the humans feed Hershey, too, but he likes to sneak him a few kibbles throughout the day just in case he’s hungry. Sharing is caring, right? Cartoons and kids’ stories might dictate that Oliver and Hershey can’t be pals, but judging by this video, they’re all about defying stereotypes. Bon appétit, cuties! Having an animal companion is a wonderful part of life. They give you companionship, entertainment, love…and, sometimes, they help you out around the house. Service animals are trained to help their human friends. This cat, however, just naturally lent a paw to her owner. Just wait ’til he touches her nose! Cat on…cat off…the catter! Rumble This may be the world’s most helpful cat. Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/touch-cat-lamp/
Sitting at home all day, our cats seem to have it easy. They eat, they nap, they take over cardboard boxes…yep, they never lift a paw to help around the house. Or so we thought! As it turns out, not only are they hard workers, but they don’t even ask for a thank you in return (then again, a nice tuna treat couldn’t hurt). See for yourself — you may never look at your furry friends the same way again. Let’s just be glad they’re not charging us by the hour… Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/hardworking-cat/
googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘VN_PG_DTBT_ATF’); }); Cats and dogs have a bad rap when it comes to not getting along. And while those knock-down, drag-out fights do happen, animal siblings living in the same house have to learn to put up with each other the same way human siblings do. Growing up in my house, hardly a day went by without some sort of sisterly argument over the bathroom or our clothes. If only we could have worked it out like these two! This adorable dog-cat duo takes bickering to the highest level of preciousness, and their pet parent always provides hilarious commentary. Go to your rooms and think about what you’ve done! (And maybe do it again so we can see more videos.) Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/animal-siblings-fight/
googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘VN_PG_DTAT_ATF’); }); What would you do to help a stranded, scared kitten that was stuck in a drain for four days? If you asked these heroes that question, they’d tell you that they’d stop at nothing to save her. The poor cat in this video found herself trapped in a drain, and when rescuers made their way down to her, she got scared and fell even farther down. That being said, they pressed on until they could finally get their hands on the kitten. Watch it all unfold in the video below. (via Love Meow) That’s one lucky cat! Not everyone would go to such great lengths to help an animal in need. Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/four-day-kitten/
Bringing a new kitten to your home can be a harrowing experience. But bringing a kitten to the same home as a giant, tough-looking guard dog? I didn’t think it could be so adorable! Rover is apparently as big a pushover for cute cat videos as I am. These two are just TOO cute! Read more: http://viralnova.com/dog-meets-kitten/
Anyone who’s graduated from an American high school has probably had the pleasure of dissecting an animal in biology class. Usually frogs are in the syllabus, but sometimes, the animal of choice is a cat. Typically, these dissections are treated as solemn and respectful affairs. Other times, though, they can go off the rails. That’s what I’d like to think is happening in the video below, which shows a biology class at Winston Churchill High School in San Antonio, Texas, using the intestines of a cat to play jump rope. Allegedly, the teacher claimed it was to test tensile strength, but I think there are better ways to do that than by hosting a morbid game of jump rope. What’s even crazier is that this isn’t the first time this has happened! As you might imagine, PETA is not happy about what’s going on in this video. They’ve allegedly petitioned the school district to take action against the teacher. So far, as of this writing, district officials are defending the teacher and students.
