The season two premiere of Dance Showdown, a web series that pits popular YouTube acts against each other in a rhythmic showdown for $100,000, boogied its way online Friday. Judges on board this season are former NSYNC member Joey Fatone and Emmy-nominated choreographer Laurieann Gibson. The show, from dance entertainment network DanceOn, attracted 10 million views in season one. When visual dance act Another Kind Of Blue stepped onto the stage of “Britain’s Got Talent,” the judges and audience had no idea they were about to witness possibly the greatest dance routine they’d ever seen. Comprised of 23-year-old Violet from the Netherlands and 28-year-old Nino from Italy, the pair of dancers specialize in floor-based routines. Using a backdrop of graphics, the talented artists move around on the floor while interacting with the animated scenes being projected onto the floor around them.
