The bond between mother and child is one of the strongest things on Earth. It’s hard to put into words what this mother dog must be going through. Trapped under an Israeli building are her litter of puppies that got swept up in a sudden flood. But amazingly, she risks it all to save her little babies. Watch as the brave mom is seen frantically waiting as soldiers dig a whole under the building as her little ones cry out for help. She’s then seen rescuing one of the pups before the dramatic footage ends. One New Jersey transit cop is being hailed as a hero after rescuing a man who had become trapped on the train tracks. The cop jumped into action when he heard the train rapidly approaching. You can clearly see the officer trying to pull this man to safety in the following video, since he wasn’t able or was choosing not to move on his own. It is unclear whether this was an accident that led to injury or an attempted suicide. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘VN_PG_DCBP_ATF’); }); Whatever the case might have been, this officer went above and beyond to protect and serve. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘VN_PG_DTBT_ATF’); }); Hero is normally a very quiet dog, so when he started whining incessantly one day, his owner knew something was very wrong. Four-year-old Sadie has type one diabetes and Down syndrome, which makes it quite difficult for her parents to monitor the little girl’s blood sugar levels. That’s where Hero comes in. The service dog has been specially trained to detect decreases in blood sugar. While many dogs have been trained to help diabetics in the same way, what Hero did one day is almost beyond comprehension. Little Sadie was at school five miles away from her home when Hero suddenly started whining to no end. Knowing something was wrong, her mom decided to call the school and ask them to check Sadie’s blood sugar. Everything looked fine at first, but within a half hour, it had dropped from 122 to 82. Hero somehow sensed what was wrong from miles away! Hero thoroughly deserves his name. If Sadie’s blood sugar had dropped any lower, she could have slipped into a diabetic coma. Service animals are so incredible at what they do, and their dedication is absolutely unmatched. Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/blood-sugar-dog/
Presumably unable to resist the view from his high-rise apartment in Colombia, this little dog stuck his body through the railings…but quickly found himself dangling by his back paws. Luckily, the pup has some extremely nosey neighbors, and when they heard his yelps of distress, they sprung into action. Watch as one man climbs up from the balcony on the floor below to help this poor dog, despite the possibility of falling to his own doom. (via Mashable) Yikes! Has anyone in Colombia ever heard of spare keys? Hopefully, the pup’s owner learns to gate the balcony so their sight-seeing pooch doesn’t try to pull this stunt again.
