For one group of mourners gathered at an Irish pub for a wake, the passing of a dear friend wasn’t about shedding tears. Instead, it was all about honoring his memory by rocking out in style! To mark the passing of Ger ‘Farmer’ Foley, the customers and staff of Falvey’s Bar in Killorglin, Ireland, decided to send off their friend in joyous fashion by singing his favorite song, “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers. What started innocently enough with one man, Brian O’Sullivan, climbing onto the bar counter to get the sing-along going, quickly became an all-out party.
