The lynx is on the small side of big cats who roam the wild. They’re not as big as lions, but that doesn’t mean they’re not fearsome. They’re still hunters and totally dangerous to the small animals they prey on. But in some case, fearsome doesn’t have to mean fearless, as we can see from this match-up between a lynx and a Chihuahua. While that might not sound like a fair fight, just look at what happens… I was NOT expecting that! This pair is an animal odd couple for the ages. They look like they’re having so much fun! Share this with the cat and dog lovers you know. Editor’s note: You should not try to take a lynx in as a pet. This particular one is a rescue. They can be quite dangerous in the wild. If you think you see one in need of help, call your local wildlife organization. Read More: I’m Still In Disbelief After What Happened When They Put A Wild Cat In With A Deer. WOW. Are you a fearless digital warrior? Can you contribute real-time teamwork? Exhibit creative thinking under fire? More importantly, are you good at Diablo 3? If you are and if you’re a programmer who’s interested in working for an Israeli ad agency, then you might want to check in on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. Israeli time this month to square off with Yossi Lubaton, CEO of BBR Saatchi, a.k.a. “Yossilubaton#2572.” If you fare well against the level 60 Barbarian, he will invite you into his office for a job interview and will give you Warmonger, the legendary sword, one million gold coins “and maybe manager’s insurance.” Lubaton’s strategy makes sense: Likely candidates will be on D3 anyway. But it’s also pretty savvy marketing by the agency. Either way, it’s a nice change of pace from the usual, “Where do you see yourself in five years?” style of traditional interviews. What do you think? What’s the oddest job interview you’ve ever been on? Let us know in the comments. [Via Creativity Online ] Read more: http://mashable.com/2012/07/03/diablo-3-job-interview/

The Young@Heart chorus based in western Massachusetts is comprised of senior citizens ranging from their early 70s and beyond. Established at an elderly housing project in 1982, the program has given countless aging individuals an exciting, fun, and productive pastime to look forward to each day. During a performance in 2007, 83-year-old Fred Knittle stepped on stage to perform the lead vocal in their cover of Coldplay’s “Fix You.” Though he had retired from their group a few years before and was struggling with health issues, his incredible voice still managed to bring the house down. Prepare for your heart to melt. Sadly, Knittle passed away just two short years after this stirring performance. But thank goodness they captured this amazing moment so his legacy can live on. You can find more of the chorus’s beautiful renditions over on their YouTube page. Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/young-at-heart-fix-you/

One man is taking on homelessness by tapping into the tiny-house craze that’s sweeping the nation right now. It all started after Los Angeles resident Elvis Summers noticed a 60-year-old woman in his neighborhood sleeping in the dirt a few doors down from where he lived. Feeling like it was his duty as a fellow human to try and do something to help the poor woman, he decided to build a tiny home for her out of recycled materials. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘VN_PG_DCBP_ATF’); }); It took Summers five days to build the home, which comes complete with a window and sturdy wheels to move it between different locations. These materials, including the wheels and two locks for the front door, cost him about $500. His words say it all: “Nobody should be homeless, especially in one of the richest countries in the world.” Feeling inspired by what he’d managed to do in such a short time, Summers founded My Tiny House Project LA. He’s already built over 30 tiny houses for homeless people across the city. Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/tiny-house-surprise/
