Dogs usually love beef jerky, but this is not beef jerky. When presented with low-fat lamb jerky, this five-month-old Labrador Retriever not only expresses his displeasure, but we’re detecting a bit of fear. In the video’s YouTube description, his owner says, “This is strange and yet hilarious, because this is a dog who will eat anything and pretty much everything.” But he wants to make it clear that this YouTube video isn’t showing him abusing the young dog: “I will have you know that this in no way counts as abuse. Once I finished filming, he went back to playing with his toys. He is a much loved and much spoiled pup. :)” But just look at the sad expression on the dog’s face. Sure, a lot of that is the natural folds of the breed’s skin, but from someone who has had undesired foods pushed into his face too many times, I have to feel sorry for the little guy. What do you think? Is this any way to treat a dog? Read more: http://mashable.com/2012/08/11/dog-is-terrified/
Anytime you go in for surgery, there’s a chance you might walk away with complications…or worse. But when there was a payment dispute between a doctor and a patient in China, one woman received more hurt than she bargained for. The following video was taken at a hospital in Inner Mongolia, and it’s believed that it was captured in the gynecology unit. Allegedly, the woman was about to be operated on when the doctor asked for more money to complete the procedure. An argument started, the patient lashed out, and eventually, the doctor slapped the patient and forcefully restrained her. While it’s never okay to resort to violence, some are saying that the woman had every right. According to reports across the country, doctors are preying on patients and extorting them in their weakest hour, which is supposedly what happened in this woman’s case. Because of this and other factors like a growing upper class with very specific expectations, recent numbers show that Chinese patients are attacking their doctors more and more often. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘VN_PG_DTAT_ATF’); }); If you ask most people, they’ll tell you girls are supposed to like pink. They’ll say that girls are supposed to tick the boxes on their bucket lists next to “big white dress” and “fairy-tale wedding.” Girls are supposed to throw tea parties and dress dolls and giggle and cry and sit on the sidelines while boys score goals and go home covered in grass stains. And that’s where most people are totally wrong. In an effort to highlight the strength and joy that comes with playing “like a girl,” Always proves that those three words are far from insulting. They’re full of so much power. While other people are busy telling girls to quit, they’re busy telling each other one simple thing in response: “Don’t you dare.” If girls enjoy princesses and tea parties, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. What’s wrong is forcing all girls to stand behind walls built with stereotypes and expectations. To learn more about the Always #LikeAGirl campaign, be sure to check this out. There are some things on the Internet that are best left unexplained. To ask why YouTuber theseheavenlybodies would insert panicked voices over several speeding trains would only lead one down a rabbit hole of more unanswerable questions…spiraling into insanity. All you need to know is that it looks like the trains are screaming, and it’s simultaneously hilarious and frightening. I can’t deny that I’ve watched this video at least 15 times now, and each time I get more confused. The best thing to do is to embrace the chaos. One YouTube commenter described it as “Thomas and friends on mushrooms.” Seems about right. Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/screaming-trains/
googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘VN_PG_DTAT_ATF’); }); Crows have a bit of a bum rap. Poets have famously demonized them, they wake us up at the crack of dawn after sleepless nights, and they’re tied to some seriously bizarre history. That being said, when crows are in need, we have to remember that they’re living beings just like us. While struggling to stay afloat, one unlucky crow was saved by an unlikely hero: a brown bear. Fortunately for the bird, its big protector wasn’t in the mood for wings that day. This video proves that in times of trouble, anyone can become a hero. There’s nothing I find more disgusting than someone chewing with their mouth open while eating in public. It’s always been one of my major pet peeves, and whenever I catch a relative or friend in the act, I’m quick to point out the gross habit. But though I find that repulsive, I don’t mind at all when this slow loris takes a bite of his food without worrying about his manners. The tiny, lovable animal is so adorable, in fact, that I almost don’t notice that he chews with his mouth open! Just when you think the cuteness is done, he picks up more banana and the entire cycle starts again. And can we take a moment to appreciate that tongue? Be sure to share this with your loved ones if you feel the same way! Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/slow-loris-lunch/
When a stray cat got his head stuck between the bars of an iron fence, the Los Angeles Animal Services Specialized Mobile Animal Rescue Team, otherwise known as SMART, was called out to rescue the feline in distress. The stray, nicknamed Midnight by neighbors, was known to regularly go in and out of the bottom of the fence. But one day, after being cruelly shot twice with a BB gun, the poor kitty got scared and ran through the wrong hole. After trying to gently push his head back through the bars, the rescue team enlisted the help of a vet technician who sedated Midnight as the team successfully freed him from the gate. After his dramatic rescue, Midnight was taken to an animal shelter to be cared for, and I’m very happy to report that the little guy was adopted soon after by a loving family. When visual dance act Another Kind Of Blue stepped onto the stage of “Britain’s Got Talent,” the judges and audience had no idea they were about to witness possibly the greatest dance routine they’d ever seen. Comprised of 23-year-old Violet from the Netherlands and 28-year-old Nino from Italy, the pair of dancers specialize in floor-based routines. Using a backdrop of graphics, the talented artists move around on the floor while interacting with the animated scenes being projected onto the floor around them. It’s as equally mind-blowing as it is emotional. Believe me when I say this, you’re in for a treat. It’s not often I find myself agreeing with Simon, but like he said, that was absolutely “genius”!
