Wildlife Rescuers Are Left Completely Exhausted After Rescuing An Injured Deer.

, , , , , , ,

A school in the UK alerted Simon and his fellow animal rescuers from the Wildlife Aid Foundation to help rescue a roe deer trapped in a fenced playground area. There was a lot of blood on the ground, worrying the team of a possible injury to the deer. When they finally caught the deer, they discovered running on the concrete caused him to bleed from his hooves. Luckily the little guy didn’t have any other fresh wound. They released him in a nearby field after checking him over, and Simon says the hooves won’t be any problem if the deer stays on the grass and soft ground. (Source: Wildlife Aid) The rescue completely drained all the energy out of the team. They looked exhausted at the end, but it was all worth it! Read more: http://viralnova.com/injured-deer-rescue/

One Bird Stuck In A Warehouse Gives Wildlife Rescuers A Really Hard Time.

, , , , , , ,

Trying to catch a bird of prey is hard enough as it is, let alone when they are all panicked due to being stuck in a very large warehouse. Simon and Sean from the Wildlife Aid Foundation spent a couple of hours chasing a Sparrowhawk around a warehouse. Having dealt with similar situations before, Simon knew what he had to do. He attempted to corner the frightened bird so that Sean, who was waiting in a very precarious position, could capture it. Eventually the pair managed to capture the small bird of prey and set it free, but it was no easy task. (Source: Wildlife Aid) Forget about “needle in a haystack”, the new term should be “Sparrowhawk in a warehouse.” Read more: http://viralnova.com/sparrowhawk-rescue/

When An Injured Homeless Dog Was Rescued, She Had A Surprise For Her Rescuers.

Hope For Paws got a call about an injured dog living on the streets in a rough part of Los Angeles. The dog rarely came out of her hiding spot, except to look for food late at night, so it took Eldad Hagar and Lisa Chiarrelli a few nights of looking. They were told the dog was pregnant so they wanted to get to her as quickly as possible. After hearing from a neighbor that the dog might be living in some bushes, they went exploring one night. They were able to quickly find her den in one particularly think bush. What they didn’t except to find was that the dog had given birth, and was there with all of her adorable newborn puppies. (Source: Eldad Hagar) What a sweetie Iris is, and her three puppies Seth, Nethaniel and Meg look just the cutest. Hopefully they’ll all find a forever home very soon. Tourists Heroically Rescue A Pod Of 30 Dolphins That Beached Themselves.

One guy was just having an ordinary day at a beach in Arraial do Cabo in Brazil when he spotted something odd in the ocean. As soon as he realized what was going on, he began filming immediately. A pod of over thirty dolphins were swimming straight at him. It’s hard to say why the dolphins swam straight at the shore, but they were about to get into a bunch of trouble. The dolphins became beached and were stranded. Luckily, a crowd of bystanders were quick to react and came to their rescue. Watch the craziness unfold before your very eyes in the video below. (Source: crariyo) I personally think it’s rather fascinating how the dolphins almost seem to understand that the humans are helping them. They stopped struggling as they are dragged back to the sea, almost thankful for the help. (At least it seems that way to me.) One thing’s for sure, that is the last time these dolphins are going to let Dave lead. Share this crazy animal rescue video with your friends and family below. Baby Swan Stuck In A Fence Gets Rescued, But Not Before Daddy Causes A Scene.

, , , , , , , , , ,

Simon from the Wildlife Aid Foundation received a call about a cygnet (young swan) that found itself in a terrible predicament by getting stuck in a fence. Once near the stuck little swan, Simon had to face an angry cob (male swan) that wouldn’t let anybody near his poor baby. As he attempted to get the baby swan free, the cob kept on swiping at him with its powerful wings. Simon wouldn’t let it faze him and kindly told the angry male swan “don’t be silly” and to “stop it”. Which is just the most adorably English thing I’ve ever heard. I was half expecting him to offer the swan a cup of tea, too. (Source: Wildlife Aid) Seeing that beautiful family swim off at the end was totally worth the few bruises Simon may have received from that cob. Read more: http://viralnova.com/baby-swan-rescue/
