Foxes known for getting stuck in all kinds of weird places, and the young fox in the video below is no different. He was exploring the space in the office roof when he fell down. They never expected to find an itty bitty fox in the wall. But when they spotted the little guy, they called Simon from Wildlife Aid Foundation who came and saved the day. (Source: Wildlife Aid) Simon has such a calming voice. No wonder the fox was so docile. Read more: http://viralnova.com/fox-coffee-machine/
Those of you who have a dog know how excited and hyper they get during playtime. This is especially true if the game in question has anything to do with objects that they can fetch. Whenever I take my dogs to the park and bring a ball, they practically knock me over while jumping up and trying to grab it out of my hand. At least I’m able to keep standing, though — unlike this poor kid. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘VN_PG_DCBP_ATF’); }); While enjoying a nice family game of baseball, this little boy pulled off an awesome hit and began running around the bases as fast as he could. But as he was about to reach home plate, his pup sprinted toward him like a bat out of hell. That’s gotta hurt. Look, buddy — I know you’re having a great time winning and everything, but I have a piece of advice for you: Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/youre-out-dog/
googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘VN_PG_DTAT_ATF’); }); A while back we brought you a story about an amazing tap dancing seagull in Wales. Well, the little guy is still dancing like no one is watching! The feathered fella seems to be quite the celebrity these days and is always willing to do a little jig for a yummy snack. Fun fact: Seagulls actually developed this ability to “tap dance” because the sound of their feet hitting the ground resembles raindrops, which brings out the worms. So, basically, this clever bird is using his tap dancing skills to get his supper even when there is nothing but pavement and concrete around. All I could think about while watching this was, “He’s a maniac, maniac on the floor! And he’s dancing like he’s never danced before!” Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/tap-dancing-seagull/
Rattlesnakes are considered some of the most sophisticated creatures in the world, and they have the tails to prove it. Scientists believe these defense mechanisms to be highly sophisticated warning signals, which makes rattlesnakes uniquely terrifying. It’s a one-of-a-kind trait that not many people understand, so let’s take a closer look at what’s really going on when these serpents defend themselves. The noises that they generate ward off predators. Their tails rattle about 50 times per second, and they can keep that up for hours on end if necessary. Imgur / Daedalus031 The rattles are made of keratin, and every time snakes molt, their tails get a bit longer. When rattlesnakes travel, they keep their tails up to avoid damaging them, since they rely on those noisemakers for survival. Reddit / GoldenWizard The guys in this video wanted to learn more, so they went ahead and cut a rattlesnake’s tail open. And there you have it, folks. It’s never a bad idea to learn about creatures that pose a threat to humans. You never know when you’ll hear that telltale rattle. Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/rattlesnake/
The insect world can be a pretty amazing place, between all the bees stinging, the spiders webbing, and the ants… doing whatever ants do. But what this guy caught on video is pretty unbelievable. What do you suppose a dog thinks when they see a cow? “That’s the ugliest dog I’ve ever seen”? Or perhaps, “I’m going to make her my new best friend”? Miss Piggie the Boston Terrier could hardly contain her excitement when she met Suzanne, a dairy cow. At first, no one knew how the larger animal would react to the little pup. Within minutes, though, it became clear that they just wanted to be friends. Watch as Miss Piggie and Suzanne have their very first playdate. It looks like they’ll have many more fun days ahead! They’re very different animals, but dogs and cows have been known to be thick as thieves. Some cows treat dogs like their babies. Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/dog-and-cow/
A guy named James saw a Facebook post about two deer that were stranded on Albert Lea Lake. It was iced over, so the poor deer couldn’t get their footing and make it to safety. They were there for as long as THREE DAYS before James saw this post. That’s when he and his dad took matters into their own hands. They got their hovercraft ready and headed to the lake. “” A father, son, GoPro camera, hovercraft, and two stranded deer… that’s apparently the recipe for an incredible video. Share this awesome act of kindness with others. And because it included a hovercraft, which is just awesome. Read more: http://viralnova.com/deer-on-icy-lake/
The lengths our friends at the Wildlife Aid Foundation will go to in order to save an animal in need never cease to amaze me. When a baby kestrel fell out of its nest at the top of an enormous tree, Simon and his pals had to call in a highly trained climber so that the baby bird could be returned safely to it’s treetop home. It was a dangerous challenge, but as you’ll see in the video, it was all worth it in the end. I just love seeing how much some people care about animals. So much effort for one tiny little bird, now that’s what I call dedication. Good job, guys! Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/treetop-rescue/
