Hope For Paws got a call about an injured dog living on the streets in a rough part of Los Angeles. The dog rarely came out of her hiding spot, except to look for food late at night, so it took Eldad Hagar and Lisa Chiarrelli a few nights of looking. They were told the dog was pregnant so they wanted to get to her as quickly as possible. After hearing from a neighbor that the dog might be living in some bushes, they went exploring one night. They were able to quickly find her den in one particularly think bush. What they didn’t except to find was that the dog had given birth, and was there with all of her adorable newborn puppies. (Source: Eldad Hagar) What a sweetie Iris is, and her three puppies Seth, Nethaniel and Meg look just the cutest. Hopefully they’ll all find a forever home very soon. The mother of these stray puppies left them one day in search of food. Unfortunately for the pups, she never returned. The tiny pooches had to scavenge for food and try to survive on their own. Luckily, someone from the neighborhood stepped in and fed them for a few weeks and then called the good people at Hope For Paws. When they arrived to rescue the little guys, the puppies were harder to catch than anyone could have expected. What a happy ending! And what a difference a bath and a warm bed made in their disposition. Hopefully someone will adopt them and give them all a good home. Until then, they are clearly in good hands! A puppy named Meesha had to be put under while she was spayed, and when she woke up after the anesthesia wore off, she was understandably confused. The poor pup started whimpering, and that’s when Dennis Moses, a surgical assistant at BARCS Animal Shelter in Baltimore, Maryland, comforted the pooch by taking her in his arms. Something tells me that this man is a father. He seems like a pro when it comes to making little ones feel better! Read more: http://www.viralnova.com/vet-comforts-dog/
